The Office of the Auditor General supports the accounting profession by sponsoring students in their applicable professional accounting designation program as follows:

• subsidizes training through partial reimbursement of tuition costs;
• allows for program related time off in approved cases; and
• provides on-the-job training and experience.

In addition, the Office has a promotion policy whereby in addition to satisfactory work performance, your progression through our audit positions is related to your success in progressing towards your accounting designation.
