About Our Office
As Auditor General, Denise Hanrahan is an independent officer of the House of Assembly who was appointed by the elected members of the House for ten year term. Together with her staff, the Auditor General performs financial audits, performance audits and issues other special reports. These reports serve the people of Newfoundland and Labrador by reporting on how well government is managing its responsibilities and resources.
