REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS FOR FINANCIAL STATEMENT AUDIT SERVICES

The Office of the Auditor General invites quotations from interested parties for the provision of audit services for the financial statement audit of the Provincial Information and Library Resources Board for the fiscal year 2025-26, with the possibility of two one-year extensions. The successful proponent would be reporting directly to the Board of Directors of the Provincial Information and Library Resources Board.

The Provincial Information and Library Resources Board is a Crown Corporation of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The Provincial Information and Library Resources Board oversees the operation of the public library services in the province.

A strong knowledge of Canadian Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS) is required.  All audit work must be planned and executed in accordance with Canadian generally accepted auditing standards.

The Auditor General of Newfoundland and Labrador is the independent auditor of the Public Accounts of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador and certain Crown agencies. The website for the Office of the Auditor General at http://www.ag.gov.nl.ca provides further information on the Office, its mandate and its operations.

Electronic quotations must be submitted no later than March 20, 2026.

All electronic submissions must be clearly identified Financial Statement Audit Services – PILRB.  Late quotations will not be accepted and will be returned to the proponent.  The proponent shall provide the hourly rate and level of experience of the proposed resources. The Office of the Auditor General is not bound to accept the lowest priced quotation and may exercise the right not to select any of the quotations submitted. Please note that auditor(s) selected must have a current Criminal Records Screening Certificate (Certificate of Conduct) from the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary or the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

The Heritage Foundation is a Crown Corporation of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The Heritage Foundation has a mandate to help to preserve Newfoundland and Labrador heritage.

We are inviting quotations from interested parties for the provision of audit services for the financial statement audit of the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council for the fiscal year 2025-26, with the possibility of two one-year extensions. The successful proponent would be reporting directly to the Board of Directors of the Arts Council.

The Arts Council is a Crown Corporation of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The Arts Council is responsible for fostering, promoting, and developing the arts of the province and the arts of groups indigenous to the province, and to advise the minister on matters related to the development of arts policy.

A strong knowledge of Canadian Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS) is required.  All audit work must be planned and executed in accordance with Canadian generally accepted auditing standards.
